Jake Robinson

VP of Business and Economic Development

Jake Robinson serves as the Vice President of Business and Economic Development at MLCV, dedicated to advancing economic growth in the Mille Lacs Tribal Economy and beyond. A Red Lake Nation tribal member from Bemidji, Minnesota, he holds a degree in American Indian Studies and Political Science from the University of Minnesota, Morris. Before joining MLCV in July 2024, Jake served as Chief Development Officer at Red Lake, Inc. His passion for creating opportunities for Indigenous communities to thrive strengthens his vision for MLCV’s mission. Outside of work, Jake and his wife, Shelby, train and race world-class sled dogs — precisely symbolizing his motivation and tenacity, which he brings to the MLCV table.
