MLCV's Bi-Wiidoopamishinaang (Elder Event) is a bridge between generations. These events bring Mille Lacs Band Elders and MLCV Leaders together to grow meaningful relationships and share wisdom. Leaders pause to connect with the people behind MLCV's mission through engaging discussions, a shared meal, and bingo games. With growing attendance since 2019, 2024's events were filled with informative presentations and community connections.
Since 1997, MLCV’s Donations Committee has supported nonprofit organizations through financial contributions, fostering education, health, environmental sustainability, and cultural enrichment. In fiscal years 2024 and 2025, MLCV’s philanthropy strengthened over 60 organizations, including Osprey Wilds Environmental Learning Center and the Onamia Indian Education Program, creating lasting impacts for future generations.
